About the Journal

The Journal of Social Sciences and Economics (JSSE) [ISSN: 2958-1532] is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal that publishes high-quality original research across all disciplines of the social sciences and economics.

As an open-access journal, all content is freely available to readers and institutions without charge. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full texts, and to use them for any lawful purpose, in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Focus and Scope

JSSE publishes both theoretical and empirical research of the highest academic standard, with emphasis on applied and interdisciplinary issues in:

  • Economics (applied, development, environmental, agricultural, behavioral, and policy analysis)

  • Education, governance, and public policy

  • Social sciences (sociology, anthropology, political science, demography, law, and cultural studies)

  • Development studies and sustainability

  • Interdisciplinary research where social or economic dimensions are central

Publication Frequency

The journal is published biannually (June and December). To ensure rapid dissemination of knowledge, accepted articles are made available online immediately after acceptance.

JSSE serves a global readership, including:
