Finesse Publishing invites applications for the position of English Editor to join the editorial team of the Journal of Social Sciences and Economics (JSSE). The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional command of academic English and proven experience editing research manuscripts in the fields of social sciences, economics, or related disciplines.

 

Edit and proofread research manuscripts for grammar, clarity, coherence, and academic style.

Ensure manuscripts adhere to JSSE’s formatting, structure, and referencing guidelines.

Enhance readability and flow while maintaining the author’s original meaning and scholarly tone.

Review manuscripts for consistency, accuracy, and compliance with ethical publishing standards.

Manage multiple projects efficiently and meet editorial deadlines.

 

Master’s or Ph.D. in English, Linguistics, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in academic or scholarly editing, preferably for peer-reviewed journals.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to collaborate within an editorial team.

Familiarity with academic writing conventions in social science and economics research will be considered a strong advantage.
